Technology Assessment and Integration Services:

The technology integrators shall be responsible for the coordination and integration of JIEDDO sponsored activities OCONUS and the operational assessment of those technologies. Recommendations relative to the rapid acquisition process shall be incorporated into the assessments.  While the Government may release these assessments to other Agencies, Contractors will develop them for internal use only.  Personnel under this task will work closely with the JIEDDO Technology Requirements Integration Division, TF Paladin, and the deployed unit headquarters.

• Work with the Command and Operations Sections to focus proposed and existing C-IED technologies for deployment in Theater, S&T efforts.  Functional responsibilities include:
• Provide input in defining requirements for C-IED capability gaps
• Draft and submit JUONS
• Support Operational Assessments (OAs) for systems coming into theater.
• Answer technical RFIs
• Produce intelligence products on key findings of exploitation efforts
• Coordinate focused analyses for technical questions regarding IEDs.
• Minimum Experience.  Technology Integrators shall have an engineering background and have at least one year of experience in C-IED technologies.  The person filling the position should have an understanding of threat IED TTPs and US/Coalition efforts to counter these devices.
• Minimum Education:  Master of Science degree in a technical field.  A “Technical Field” is considered anything with a math, sciences, or engineering background.  The specific degree in these cases is not as important as the ability to work with complex technical issues, as demonstrated by a conferred degree in the technical field.

• Minimum Security Clearance:  TS/SCI ELIGIBLE
