Position: Senior Administrator (Operating Systems)

Location: Kansas City, MO

Position Description:

The System Administrator is responsible for all aspects of systems administration pertaining to servers.

Includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, backup, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures.

Windows Server, VM Ware, Vmotion, Solaris, storage subsystems (EMC, NetApp, HP), running on various hardware platforms (HP, Dell, IBM).

• Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 10+ years of operating systems experience.
• Demonstrated thorough mastery of the job in a senior level.
• Having complete knowledge of this field and is able to handle seldom and unusual occurring job events.   Ability to handle complex system administrator issues, with planning at the project/product level.
• Creation of a course of action for problem resolution with may require conducting research, conceiving new/innovated approaches, predicting outcomes, and/or developing new theories.
• May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to nonexempt personnel.
